  • Share this:

Singaporeans love Chilli Crabs in general. If you don't, what's wrong with you!!?? :ppp. We understand some of you might find it daunting to slaughter and clean the crabs - we totally understand. That's why Roland is showing you how to make a substitute dish for Chilli Crabs using Tofu and Prawns. We suggest you to use our sambal chilli recipe to enjoy the best of this dish but if you want to skip it, just go to your nearest supermarket and grab one of those ready-made sambal chilli. Want to make your own sambal chilli? See our recipe here:https://youtu.be/ZPxZggFRq8M

Refer to the ingredient list below or go to our website here http://spicenpans.com/tofu-prawns/ for your easy reference.

We would like to give special thanks to La Gourmet for letting us try out their high quality cast iron wok. If you like to buy them, you can go to any of the major department stores in Singapore such as Isetan, Robinsons, BHG, OG, Metro or Tangs.

Hope you can recreate this yummy dish in the comfort of your home. Thanks for dropping by our channel.

About author
Hihi! Thanks so much for watching our videos! We are a couple from Singapore. Usually Roland cooks & Jamie hides behind the scene filming, editing, photo-taking & doing everything else including replying to your comments. We specialise in Singapore-influenced Chinese food but we do cook other types of food every now & then. As we have other full-time jobs (not Spice N' Pans related) so please pardon us if we can't do more to help you. When our channel was much smaller, we were able to reply almost to all of your comments & we love doing that. However, as our subscriber base grows (thank you so much!!), it has become very challenging for us to do so. We hope some of you can help us by replying to some of the questions posed by our fellow avid home cooks. Thank you so so much for sharing our passion.
